The government of Nepal is conspiring with the retail industry. How else can you explain the predictable random power outages. I think its all part of their plan to sell UPS and candles! And lets not forget the additional revenue from matches and lighter sales.
And is it a coincidence that the power outages rarely occur at night. Obviously the Nepali government does not want to deal with a population surge due to all the power outage babies.
